NATCHITOCHES — The Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Foundation has improved its technology and donor platform while securing a new sponsor to align with that upgrade.

The Southern Quality Ford Dealers have made a two-year commitment to be the Official Technology Sponsor of the LSHOF Foundation in conjunction with the foundation’s inaugural TEAM membership drive which was launched this past fall.

“More accurately capturing donor data, tracking special event financials, and making the process of contributing more efficient are just some ways that our new software platform better positions the LSHOF Foundation for the level of growth vital in its efforts to increase support for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame museum in Natchitoches,” said LSHOF Foundation CEO Ronnie Rantz.

Data and contributions to the membership drive, which has generated over $40,000 in donations and pledges since being launched six months ago, will be secured in a software system provided by nationally prominent GiveSmart by Community Brands, which provides service and support for over 8,000 non-profit entities nationwide.

The LSHOF TEAM membership drive, which is near its first-year goal of 100 members, will for the next two years be “powered by the Southern Quality Ford Dealers.” TEAM members, while providing resources which are assisting with a multi-phase plan for technology enhancements at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum opened in 2013, receive a list of benefits including exclusive gear, museum access, a discount on purchasing Hall of Fame attire, and an opportunity to win a monthly drawing.
